well there is this girl that I like and I'm not quite sure how I should ask her out. I'm kind of a shie guy. So this is more for the ladies then it is the men, but guys if you have anything let me know.

I think notes are soooo cute, especially if you sneak a little flower in it or something nice, otherwise just ask her face to face, everything else we just hate.

Okay. What you need to do is call her (so it's private) and talk to her for a few minutes (about anything). That way, when you actually ask her, you'll feel a little more comfortable. Then, at a good point in the conversation, work up your courage and ask her. Keep the plans simple- a movie or going to a school dance together.

Cute. Don't just ask Do you want to hook up or go out or whatever it is that you're thinking. Give her a reason. Face to face is better. The others might work to. A cute letter or Email. Or a good sweet conversation on the phone. I prefer Face to face but the guys here don't have the guts.

I am no longer a teenager (23) but I do have some suggestions, notes are always good for teens, sometimes they are shy and do not want their reaction seen, also now a days, texting, myspace...but the best way would be face to face, always make sure you find out what she likes to do, and ask her to do that with you, bowling, movies, shopping, amusment park, carnival... remember its a time for you to bond, so why not bond doing something she enjoys, it will be a sure way for her to have a good time

If you really like the guy it doesn't really matter. When my bf asked me out we'd spent an amazing day together and we went back to his house. I knew he was going to ask me sometime that day (he told my friend) but he kissed me and then looked up to me and asked me out of the blue. Even though I knew he was going to it all felt so natural and there was a nice balance of spur-of-the-moment and "I've wanted to be with you for a long time". It showed he cared without trying to hard to impress me (hope that makes sense)

in person. don't beat around the bush, and don't end the conversation until you've got a definate yes or no answer.
ask her to do something specific like lunch, not just hey you wanna go out sometime maybe? and don't ask with a bunch of other people listening

the best way would be to be very sweet and very appropriate (no long hands) at first then ask her "Do u want to go out with me ?"or you know whatever....i guess and give her a rose its the prettiest thing

ermm first of all whats with the 'ladies' hehe jokin ... ermm i wud say ask them out by face to face i hate notes emails and friedn passing it ons lol. if u reli likde her u wud go up to her and say can i speak to ya a second and ask her then say ' i reli like you so plz can you go out with me''
