It's funny that many of the Christians who responded don't know what I am referring to. I know which stories, or common interpretations, each of my comments is targeting.

I assume you will also want a list of of alleged make believe ideas that members of other religions have to believe in. By the way, almost all of the items you challenge are in the jewish scripture - how odd that you would not address your question to jews - lack of moral courage or hypocrisy, obviously it has to be one of the two. Particularly given that mainstream Christians - as I'm sure you know - do not and have not for many years subscribed to a literalist interpetation of scripture - you must be thinking of fundamentalists and jews.

Yes! The major things! The world is 6000 years old, God had a son (who is not really the son but the father) God made a great many things but man seems to have his hand in destroying half of them which makes God mad so he kills people with out telling them why, slavery is ok in the eyes of God, and women are not equal to men.

All ideas are make believe. That is what makes them ideas.
For the record, I am not a Christian, but I recognize that something can be true without being factual.

Not all Christians are required to believe these are literally true. Many Christians are pretty liberal. They basically take the Bible and more recent religious writings a guidance, but rely on their own moral judgment, and take responsibility for themselves.
Some of my best friends are Christians.

It would appear that your brain is missing from the list. That one about the "talking snake"?
It has been answered many times in here, and you obviously have a deep, psychological need to continue posting the same stupid thing over and over.
What is the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over and expecting........
I'll bet you sit around attempting to stack marbles one on top of the other, don't you?

It must suck to be as conflicted as you are. I am an atheist but I feel no need to bash the Christians, Muslims, Jews etc for their beliefs. They have very little effect on me and ridiculing them does nothing for me. Are you trying to justify your position? why? Convert them, why? You are giving them power over your thoughts and emotions, why? Who cares what they chose to believe, you aren't going to change their minds, faith can not be battled with logic. You can not disprove faith, so what is the point of arguing about it. Every Atheist that feels they have to dismantle religion is just stoking the fire. Ignore it, and it has a better possibility of going away.
