My face is oblong/heart shaped and I just did mine a few weeks ago- I have never received so many complements- seriously- women stopping me at the store to ask who cuts my hair. But it is important to spend the money and go to a good stylist. Also take a picture with you- a couple of good ones I found were of Jenna Jameson on TMZ.com and also Alexandra Von Furstenburg in the May issue of Vogue. Theirs are a little more stylish so you don't risk looking like you have the "housewife bob". Of course my husband misses my long hair.... but I am really happy with it. Also, have them thin the ends so it's not to poofy and lays straighter.

I just did it with oblong - go for it but with such a difficult cut, spend more money and make sure you go somewhere really good - it's not really for wavy hair unless you have a straightener

My face is quite square and it suits me, it softens the squareness at the jawline. Just make sure it is all one length at the front of your face and either at chin length or below.

Most people with good jawlines look good with that haircut. It's people who have jowls (fat, droopy cheeks/necks) or small, receding chins that make it less flattering.

it might make your face look longer, so if you think your face is too oval-ish, you might want to be careful!
