Well, since I'm one myself, I love them very much.

Not just because I'm a member of the organization, but because I have seen and been around many in many different states, and countries.

And no matter where I go, they always show me love. They treat you like family. That's really showing true Christian brotherly love.

And besides all that, Jehovah's Witnesses are the only religion to actively spread the good news of God's Kingdom like Jesus commanded his followers to do. And they don't limit the people to just males, adults, or anything. All are invited to join in the worldwide preaching work.

Can you think of another religion that bases ALL it's teachings on God's Word, the Bible, and then actually follows through with it? No one is perfect and we all do make mistakes, including Jehovah's Witnesses...but the beauty of this religion is...you choose to be in it by your own free will...nobody forces you into this religion...the reason why JWs come knocking on everybody's door or approach you in the street is because Jesus commanded all his followers to do so at Matthew 28:19,20 & 2 Timothy 4:2,5 and also because we want everybody to know that there is a bright hope for the future...about God's Kingdom that many people pray about at Matthew 6:9,10(the Lord's prayer) (all we teach is based on the Bible...not a man or woman or human...we are not a sect or cult...we follow Jesus Christ perfect example in serving the Almighty God, Jehovah)...I think JWs are wonderful people...and i am not saying we are better than anyone because we are not...Jehovah's Witnesses are honest, hardworking, loving, patient, kind, considerate, and we are not stiff people....we get involved in recreation and entertainment. We know how to have a good time and fun time...as long as it is balanced and does not interfere with our Christian activity....I love all JWs and I love being one too...regardless of what anyone does or thinks...

Jehovah's Witnesses are very different from all other so-called Christian religions.

They are the only ones who respect what Jesus said about preaching the good news and making disciples. Their work is made all around the world.

"Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit." -- Matthew 28:19

"And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come. " -- Matthew 24:14

Jehovah's Witnesses are the only ones who reject firmly everything that has to do with paganism and false teachings (trinity, afterlife, cross, Christmas, Easter etc.)

"If YOU remain in my word, YOU are really my disciples, and YOU will know the truth, and the truth will set YOU free." -- John 8:31,32

I think that they are very passionate about thier religion. Even though i am Muslim, i respect them, even if some things i dont agree with. I dont scream at them get out of my face or cuss them out, I just simply say, i am Muslim, and they say, can you read this, and to be polite, i say ok, and if i dont want to be bothered cuz im having a bad day, i say look, sir/mam, i really do not want to read anything today, but thank you for offering. And becuse of my sincerity, they keep trying to have me read one of thier pamphlets, and i take one anyway. I like to learn regardless of religious belifs of another. What i do is, i would leave that pamplet or give it to someone who might need some info.
Sometimes there are intersting things but are not always based on religion, and if it is, its not pushing the limit where its offensive.

when it really comes down to it, we are just people who have learned bible truths and are following jesus command in matthew 28:19,20 to go and make disciples. we strive to follow the first century christians, whom jesus instructed. in fact, those early christians also went "door-to-door". we also have a love of neighbor, which moves us to help others learn about the bible. its sad when people aren't respectful, grouping us as a cult. we dont judge people because they are catholic or muslim or whatever, but look at each person individually and try to find out why they believe what they do, and give them hope for the future as promised by God.

would a cult publish their information to the public, hold public meetings where anyone can attend or not attend? its futile to try and convince people that we arent a cult, but cant blame a girl for trying.

Since I've been on this site I've realised they love Jesus and they are committed good people.
However i don't agree with some of their beliefs.
The last time i spoke to a JW at the door he was respectful..we exchanged beliefs, i answered all his questions, and he and the two girls left..mutual respect i think was the way we left it..
Jesus is my Lord, so that's where I'm coming from...~~Shalom~~

They are exactly the same as other souls, no better and no worse. Ignorance is a fog separating the soul from the mind. Everybody has there own way of clearing that fog. There are many ways to skin a cat, and it doesn't matter how.

Questions like this imply that Jehovah's Witnesses are interested in becoming popular, but that is simply not true. The ONLY opinions of ongoing interest to a true Witness are those of Jehovah and Christ Jesus. Those who work to ingratiate themselves with some human or human group are not doing God's will.

(1 Thessalonians 2:4) We speak, as pleasing, not men, but God, who makes proof of our hearts.

(Matthew 6:20,21) Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven... For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Jehovah's Witnesses have the true religion. They are Christian (of course), but they are unique for their rejection of paganisms, use of God's personal name, and global preaching by every active adherent. No other religious organization can claim such purity of worship.

These facts about Jehovah's Witnesses are perhaps relevant to this question. The more one compares this Christian religion with others, the more remarkable it is shown to be.

1. Jehovah's Witnesses have no paid clergy. Yet they remain tightly organized with more than 6.5 million active Jehovah's Witness preachers (about 16 million associate themselves with the religion). Even fulltime preachers and workers at their branch offices are unpaid volunteers.

2. There is no elite class among Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the few 'anointed' among them enjoy no special privileges in their congregations on earth. An anointed person (one of those relative few with a heavenly hope) is not elevated above his fellow congregants in any way, and he may not even qualify for appointment as a simple 'deacon' or elder. There are no titles; EVERYONE is addressed as 'brother' or 'sister'.

3. No person benefits economically from the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the 8 to 20 men who serve on their Governing Body receive simply room, board, medical care, and reimbursement for certain personal expenses according to the exact same provision as every other branch volunteer.

4. About a hundred men have served on Jehovah's Witnesses' Governing Body committee during the past 125 years or so. The vast majority of them have spent the vast majority of their adult lives volunteering for their organization's purposes, and the vast majority have died faithfully and near-pennilessly while still under their legal 'vow of poverty'.

5. Amazingly, Jehovah's Witnesses did not splinter as a sect from some other religion. Instead, a truly tiny but sincere group of bible students studied only the Scriptures to determine the will of God. Thus their religion remains absolutely independent of and not carrying the sins of Christendom's history, yet carries the authority of Christ's teachings.

6. Despite the distortions of anti-Witnesses, throughout their modern history Jehovah's Witnesses have refused to claim divine inspiration or infallibility for their teachings. They have pointed to the bible (and not any particular translation) as the only inspired infallible means of knowing God's thoughts. For over 125 years, their teachings have been presented as merely the results of sincere bible research by imperfect but godly humans.

They're trying so hard to 'please God' they forgot that they couldn't. Life was never anything more than a Gift, freely Given. They, too have their part, because of all their hard-going of it.
Seeking only a 'future', they hate the Now, and are afraid of missing the future. They don't seem to realise that God only lives in Now.
He'll be around tomorrow, though. -Its Always Now at His House.
