NO. Maybe a couple hundred, or even fifty years ago god would have been a reasonable explanation for the things that we could not explain. However, with the advancement of our science and technologies in the last decade, the theory of a god is becoming more and more unbelievable and discredited. I personally don't believe in god, and i don't see any reason to, religion is a plague ( I have been to both christian and catholic churches, I have read the bible, my family is religious, and I will be up for a religious argument regardless of your religion) We are just a species among others, the only reason we are here is because of the planet we take for granted. If your gonna pray, pray to the sun, ocean and trees. Thank them for the gift of life because we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for them. The book of revelation doesn't scare me, I'm not afraid to stand by my beliefs. And to anyone who is reading this and thinking that I am immoral and god with have his way with me, and all of that other nonsense, f*** you and your silly god, your naive and ignorant and have the sack to say it. Keep following, follower. I'll be marching to my own drum.
God bless and peace be with you.

Karina, all those who doubt there is a God are wrong. They have been affected by the skepticism of a sceptical age. They do not believe except what they see. They think that nothing can be which is not comprehensible by their little minds. All minds, Karina, whether they be men's or children's, are little. In this great universe of ours, man is a mere insect, an ant, in his intellect as compared with the boundless world about him, as measured by the intelligence capable of grasping the whole of truth and knowledge.
Yes, Karina, there is a God.
He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy. Alas! how dreary would be the world if there were no God! It would be as dreary as if there were no Karinas. There would be no childlike faith then, no poetry, no romance to make tolerable this existence. We should have no enjoyment, except in sense and sight. The external light with which childhood fills the world would be extinguished.
Not believe in God! You might as well not believe in fairies. You might get your papa to hire men to watch the skys to catch God, but even if you did not see God coming down, what would that prove? Nobody sees God, but that is no sign that there is no God. The most real things in the world are those that neither children nor men can see. Did you ever see fairies dancing on the lawn? Of course not, but that's no proof that they are not there. Nobody can conceive or imagine all the wonders there are unseen and unseeable in the world.
You tear apart the baby's rattle and see what makes the noise inside, but there is a veil covering the unseen world which not the strongest man, nor even the united strength of all the strongest men that ever lived could tear apart. Only faith, poetry, love, romance, can push aside that curtain and view and picture the supernal beauty and glory beyond. Is it all real? Ah, Karina, in all this world there is nothing else real and abiding.
No God?Thank God he lives and lives forever. A thousand years from now, Karina, nay 10 times 10,000 years from now, he will continue to make glad the heart of childhood.

Yes my dear there is a GOD, but you won't learn that from anyone on this site and science is not equipt to even begin to address the presence of the infinite because science it self is a product of the finite (humans)it would kind of be like trying to dig a hole 10 feet deep using a blade of grass. The hardest thing to do is to pray and simply trust in him and although it defies all rationale you will feel the answer, you may not be able to put it into words but you will know. Peace

That would depend upon your definition of God.
I believer there is a God when God is defined as: Universal Divine Principle, the root of ALL, from which all proceeds, and within which all shall be absorbed at the end of the great cycle of Being.

I believe in God. The Creator of Heaven and Earth.
I believe God by putting unlovely people around us, teaches us love. God allows us a choice, even if we take the tempting short cut. We have learned where it was that we made the wrong turn, which allows us to learn by our mistakes. Everything is just as it should be.

In my opinion, yes. Is he what the Church and Bible describe him as? Doubtful. Ive felt the presence of God and felt peace when I needed it and talked to him. The Church has turned into a place of contradictions so I don't go near there or the Bible.

Temptation keep us dependent upon God. Just as the roots grow stronger when wind blows against a tree, so every time you stand up to a temptation you become more like Jesus. When you stumble-which you will-it is not fatal.

The thing that is funny is that god is a title. If there is only one God how is it true anyone can be labeled a god?
And if God created people in his image why would he make us imperfect?

Personally, I believe ther is a God. I also feel that the rest of you are entitled to believe whatever you like - unlike most of you who choose to believe that there isn't a God.

Of course not.
Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.
