It's perfectly normal to have a girlfriends in college. Just keep up with your homework or the time you spend in college will be a waste of money.

I think you just need to manage your time. I have a girlfriend, and we're both in college. It doesn't affect my life negatively at all. In fact, my life has been a LOT less stressful, and I can go through my classes and exams just fine. Overall I'm happier also, which also affects class attendance and performance. It MIGHT not work for EVERYONE, but it works for me.
P.S., if you wait to graduate, it will be harder to find a woman.

It will affect your studies. Often negatively.
It can interfere with getting a good job - especially if you have to look for work far away from "woman"
Wait until you graduate and have a good career started before you look for a life mate.

It all depends. You could have a girlfriend, but try not to get too into it that you neglect your studies, but you need to set aside time for her as well. I don't think it would affect your life too negatively, just don't get too far in over your head.

everyone always told me to get a boyfriend during college.
Look at me now, with my boyfriend in highschool.
I can honestly say right now it is affecting my studies. I can't concentrate on a lot of things. i have seriously thought about breaking up with him, but then i realized that if i did that, my feelings will still be there and the break up would make it worse.
I think in life you have to do what your heart tells you to do, because otherwise, things are gonna feel like sh!t.

Having a gf in college should affect your study unless you let it. It won't be negative unless it interferes with what you are trying to accomplish in school. If you have a good relationship with your gf you should be alright...

College is the time when you will meet more girls than ever. You are young, I assume, and need to get it out of your system. If you don't get it out of your system because of a girlfriend, then you will probably end up getting it out of your system in the wrong time (marriage). So get it out of your system: go to parties, mess around with plenty of girls until you get bored, then settle down with a cutie and make her happy.

Have girlfriends. Do your homework first, party second. That's always the rule. Having a relationship only interferes with your schoolwork if you LET it.

i think it would be great, i think it will improve your study than affect it in a bad way because you will be happy and a happy thought will be better than not
