You may not like George Bush or his politics, but what of our troops? Are you still behind them?

A little more information: My father is second-generation Army. He and his family had their own little "Saving Private Ryan" story when he and four of my uncles went to Vietname at the same time. Thankfully, they all came back safe. So, yes, I completely support our military.

Of course! My husband is deployed right now.

I have nothing but respect for people who are willing to make sacrifices in their lives to protect our rights and freedom.

If you don't like George Bush and his politics, it means you probably don't agree with the war.

So what do you mean by "behind the troops?"
Do you mean, you admire their courage? Or do you mean you think the war that they're fighting is worth supporting?

Because you can be behind the troops and not like the war. I'm behind the troops, in that I want them to not be dying any more.

Behind them, yes! Agree with what is being done to them, NO! We the people have a responsibility to them. That for me is speaking out to my senator and letting her know that we live in a free sector in United States. We have a democracy that we go by. I truly believe in that and that our voice will be heard one day. President Bush will not for long be dictating to us. We do get another president in 2008. Thank God!

Well, I'm married to one. So my answer would be yes.

I have great respect for soldiers. They sacrifice a normal life, and many of the rights Americans feel entitled to, in order to serve. I also have great respect for those in the military who speak out against the current war. I know it is not easy to do and takes great courage.

George Bush is .. to put it mildly.. not my favorite person.

Absolutely. Just because our government makes mistakes doesn't mean that the military is responsible.

Our soldiers go where they are told and follow orders. That is what keeps us safe.
