How many times have we seen some guy run into a church at the last minute and proclaim his love for the bride, who then proceeds to run off with him?

Why is this so one-sided? Just once couldn't a woman run in and do the same for the groom? It would only be fair.

Well Joan Cusack got left at the altar during In & Out with Kevin Kline. And there was a pretty nasty story about a groom going through with the wedding then taping pictures of his wife and his best man doing the happy naked dance. Oh and don't forget all those "funniest videos" where the groom is "escorted" out of the ceremony by men in uniforms. It happens it just doesn't make for as good of a story. Men leaving women just comes off mean and while it may be deserved won't incite lots of folks to keep watching.

Carla was stood up at the alter on Scrubs, because Turk decided to take on another surgery (even though he knew he shouldn't). He missed their wedding.

Then there is always "Run Away Bride" who left several grooms at the alter, and finally came back for one.

Because women wouldn't want to see that movie. A guy being left at the altar just got lucky, while a woman is just dumped.

Because once a man see's how beautiful a woman is on her wedding day, they cannot resist? ^-^

Oh, and don't forget the song: "Sister Golden Hair"!
