What the first guy said. It is an airbase. The only reason they are so secret is because, well, they are testing new aircraft that they don't want anyone else to know about. See a UFO? It's an experimental military aircraft. And all you people who say "ALIENS!!!!!!" you are on drugs. The F-117 and B-2 and even the F-22 were tested at that airbase. Believe it or not, the WW2 P-51 Mustang was tested there!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's where they turn theory into reality and see the optimum of whatever. For instance they will see what jet engine works best in a F-18, test to see the best number of hard points a F-18 should have, test who makes the best braking system that would work on and F-18. Then once all that's done, the F-18a becomes the F-18-B. Then they run more tests and then any modifications in that round turns the F-18-B into the F-18C. Some times they test a certain design concept like stealth and wing shapes.

theres evidence of a crash that happened some years back, and they have what they think to be a flying saucer, so they are analyzing it, and figuring out if we can use the technology. your never going to get a true answer, only guesses, because the only people who know the true answer, are sworn to secrecy, and they would never come on here anyway talking about that stuff. so my guess is as good as any other

It's a national security issue, not woth being shot over, check out yahoo groups on antigravity or better yet, join group. You wouldn't believe some of the stuff thats out there, and been out for a long time

Even those who work there don't know what goes on there in total. They are restricted to their work areas only. There are only a handful of government operatives who know the full story, and I doubt that they will enlighten the pubic on what goes on there.
