Dutchy, I was just quoting these people back to themselves. I am a student of psychology in college...even us old people can do that...so give me some more info on that measurement of emotions thing.

Who says emotions and feelings cannot be proven by facts?
You can stimulate sections of the brain (neuroscientists have done it) to cause a person to have one feeling, emotion, or physical reaction or another.
So they exist. The question for you is, how do you interpret your feelings and emotions. Why do you feel a certain way at a certain time about a certain thing. Is the feeling a rational or irrational response to a certain stimulus.
Atheists don't deny feelings or emotions. We merely understand their limitations as aides to thinking and factor that in when trying to rationally understand something.

No. We have plenty of "feelings" trust me.
We just think that the best way to approach SOME questions, is through logic, over emotions. Like "Is there a god?" and "Where did this all come from?" "Is evolution logical?"
For those questions, you use your logic and you be as unbiased as possible. For other questions, like "Why do I love my son so much?" and "What does my family mean to me?" you use your heart.
We're not monsters. We're not Vulcans. We're people. We just use logic where it seems warranted.

Not sure what an xxxthiest is, so who knows. Feelings and emotions are real and easy to see and measure, who on earth would be dumb enough to say they cannot be proven? Oh yeah.. nevermind.

You are obviously not a psychologist for then you would have known that emotional states can be measured and thus "proven".
