Well...

God chose me...I did not choose Him.
I got saved through the ministry of the 700 Club 7 years ago last month.

My life has been a joy ever since.....and my eternity will be even better with Christ

In that time, He brought me a wife......moved me to Florida.....made me a minister & a teacher of His Word.....enhanced my ability to play the piano for His glory

And here we are now.

Praise God

I was changed when I realized that I was not a good person.

I always thought I was but when I was put in a very bad and emotional situation, a true part of myself came out. I did not want to believe it, but there it was.

I knew that I needed help (my family and friends could not help me). I turned to God only because I had heard that He could do all things. When I prayed the sinner's prayer and accepted Jesus into my life, I opened the Bible, closed my eyes, and put a finger on the page. When I opened my eyes the Word of God said "Vengeance is mine, I will repay saith the Lord." I did it again and the Word of God said that I had to forgive. Very hard to do.

But those words leaped out off those pages and into my heart, and I took God at His Word. I turned the situation over to Him and I've been with Him ever sense. If I had not, I could have ended up in jail for life.

I actually left and came back to Christ after many years of thinking I could run my life better than God could. So needless to say, I failed miserably. I had huge questions (better than any atheist has asked so far, I'm shocked) that really needed answers before I could. God provided those answers and walls tumbled and slowly He revealed Himself to me more and more until I couldn't resist Him any longer. Since then, its been a rapid growth of learning, He is repairing things that I had done in the time I was away from Him and He is teaching me how to trust Him and realize that He is a God of love and not hate.

Well, I actually became a Christian when I was 5, so I don't really remember life before. But I do know now, from people I've met, that I am so glad to have Christ! It really can make a difference!

It drove me carazy. Every answer to my questions only created more questions. So confusing and frustrating and other christians get really mad at you if you ask too many questions or don't believe their answers. It's like why can't you just accept, believe and be happy? NOT. This past year I became a disciple of the Spirit of truth like Jesus told us to. Problem solved, questions answered CORRECTLY! Confusion, ambivalence and frustration are gone.

Christianity is not a religion to convert to. It's a real life experience that you yourself will soon find out. Jesus loves you, he is real. He is God alone, not A god.
