can't tell me exactly what it is like and ALL have exactly the same description. Do you not even question what you are actually believing in?
How can ANYONE know if they haven't been there. Even the people that wrote the bible hadn't been there so they don't know either.
Come on...you know it's all made up...why can't you just admit it? I won't think any less of you.

Lollipop..you are so, so wrong Everyone is allowed their opinion/belief but it would be refreshing if they could back it up instead of just giving some lame answer like "Jesus says so" "the bible says so"...that means NOTHING!!

I think it's a very real scare tactic used to coerce people into believing unbelievable stuff.

No one has been to Jupitor; yet, scientists tell us exactly what it's like there. Personally, I'd prefer to live my life in a way that will (hopefully) grant me a place in Heaven, becuase I'd sure hate to firmly believe it doesn't exist only to wind up in Hell. That would be about the worst way of finding out it does exist don't ya think?

I believe in hell because Jesus warned about it in the Bible. Read his many warnings and be afraid. Be very afraid! He used language in such a way as to depict something beyond our understanding and experience. He knew what it was like, of course, because he is the Creator, and he has assured his Church / body / believers that the gates of Hell will not overcome it. That's because he's defeated the powers of hell by his death and resurrection. You don't need any of our answers here. You just need to read the four Gospels in the New Testament. But you won't. You just think it's a joke.

Even if someone DID tell you exactly what it's like, would you believe them? An atheist called Howard Storm virtually died with a perforated stomach in a French hospital. He did not believe in any kind of existence after death, so forelornly told his wife he loved her, they kissed, and he slipped into unconsciousness. The next thing he knew, he was fully awake, alert, with all his senses firing on all cylinders - no pain, just the memory of what had happened. But his wife didn't respond to him, nor others on the ward, even though he shouted at them. Then he saw his body, lifeless, in the bed! Next, he heard a voice in the corridor telling him to come out, so they could help him. He went out and shapes and voices surrounded him, urging him to follow them, to get help. He went with them. What happened was horrifying. Read about it in his book - if you dare!

I don't believe that all these killers and criminals will get away with it ....there will be justice ...everyone will be treated according to what he/she did in his/her life. That are many things that we cant see but we believe in ....and we have been told about hell in religion ...in Quran ,I really petty who is going there and i hope none of you will, and i fear it too...And on the other hand there is a paradise which i cant describe how it is exactly ...:)If you dont want to believe in hell its ok ...you are free to believe whatever you want...:)

it's a place, not in this matter-composed universe, that holds souls that will never enter Heaven, as they die in sin and God can't have sin in His presence, waiting for judgement where they will be cast into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone along with the devil, his demons, Hell and death itself.

you obviously don't know much about the Bible if you say "oh, they never went, so they don't know about it". God told them. it'd be like you trying to tell me there is no Neptune because we've never been. we even know what it's like from astronomy.

It's funny, you can talk about the war and refer to a history book but when talkig about religion you can't refer to their books? Y do you shut down the proof at hand? You want to physically see hell??!?!! Then my friend you still would not believe becuase you have no faith. He with no faith can not stand on his own. Believing and faith are hand in hand. You absolutely have faith that there is no hell therefore that is what you believe.

Get real. Hell may well be what each person thinks it is. If you do not believe in it, then why do you care what I believe.

I class myself as religious but I don't believe in hell. I have this theory that the world is hell, and if your really bad you keep getting reincarnated to go through again and again and again. Ever had dejavu?

Meet with people who have been dead, visited hell and have come back to life. U should find such books in the Christian bookshop.
