Well, it takes two for starters, but this is the best way to conduct yourself in a relationship. If it ends for any reason, you will know that you did all the right things.

Yes, this is true. What keeping a positive attitude does is allow the focus to stay on the issue at hand. It is not an easy thing to do and sometimes will take more work than others. Realize that life doesn't have to come to a complete stop just because you are mad or the other person has done something offensive towards you. Let life move foward and still leave room for communicating your feelings. You will feel a lot better and hopefully your mate will notice your efforts and try to work on those area. You could also let your mate know that you plan on working on keeping a positive attitude during the times that you are upset but want him/her to realize that you still feel strongly about the situation.

It is the question of mutual respect for each other!! however mad u r do not degrade the other person or hurt the feeling by saying something u will regret later!!!! It always helps to be positive not just in relationship but it should be opted for life!! being optimistic makes u confident, respect others and get respect from others! Goodluck!!

No, I don't. I think arguing is not only good for the soul, it's good for the relationship...just remember to argue the right way.

Being nice and respectful all the time would be too exhausting also, you wouldn't be true to yourself or your partner...you'd most likely be seen as a door mat at some point.

Btw, arguing is not a sign of being disrespectful...sometimes you just have to stand up for what you know is right.

Get to the crux of the problem and argue it out in a mature manner and move on to enjoying life. Also, make-up sex is great!

Yes, b/c a relationship without respect doesn't work out. It is always better to stay calm even though you are burning inside of fury. You should always talk when you feel much better. If you are alone than its okay to go crazy and break everything if that makes you feel better, but while you are with your partner its better to act mature and take it calmly and in the positive way.

Um I would say No..... Thinking positive does help with peoples outlooks on life but sometimes you have to get mad and get your feeling out..... if you are nice ALL the time you will be pegged as a door mat and your signifigant other might take advantage... speak your mind, but try to think positive and your relationship should stay fine!!! :o)

Yes. But also keep in mind that you cannot always expect things to remain the same. People do change and situations develop you cannot predict. But thinking positive and being respectful will lead you on the best path through whatever comes your way. My absolute best to you.

Yes, but I don't believe that "thinking positive" cures all. What causes you to commit to the right things and think kindly when you're furious. Your virtures. What source of information completely gives you the guidance and source of good virtures that lead to better relationships among people...The Bible. Jesus said: "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another" (John 13:34)

It's kinda hard to be nice when ur mad. and if u let all that anger build up inside ur eventually gonna explode. Good relationships are about communicating, ..not pretending that nothings wrong.

you will have a better relationship if you have open communication.
Not fighting about things when you are mad, but talking things out.
If you hold mad in then one day you will explode.
Your other half needs to know about the things that upset you and you need to work out a solution to it together to have a good relationship.

be cool...
