I have a Sony Vaio Trinitron color TV, 20x26 inches , made in 2000. It's big and is on a TV stand made for it. Today I tried to turn the TV to get a better angle, but instead of pulling by the stand, I pulled on the base of the TV. When I budged it like 1 cm, the whole screen got distorted, grey, and fuzzy. Now, I can still make out what's on the screen, but it's not viewable by any means. And it hasn't gotten better in the past few hours.
Is it possible that I've permanently broken my TV?
Is this something where I can just let it cool down and it'll be better later, or will I have to get it repaired? And if so, what's the best way/place to get it repaired?

And, there are no loose connections on the outside of the tv. I replaced every cord with a new one, and it's not different. It really seems to be a problem INSIDE the tv. ugh

move it back and see what happens

Never move a set while it's turned on. This disrupts the magnetic field the set is in, and can make the image distorted, and colors blotchy. Turn of the set, let it cool, then turn it back on. The automatic degauss should re-orient the TV in the new magnetic field.

If you havent' done so yet, I'd check the connections in the back of your TV. It is always possible the move caused a connection to come loose.
