how long will i have to study to be a vet?

i want to be a vet when im older
so can anyone give me a rough outline
of how long will i have to study

Well, first you need a 4 year college degree. You should major in the biological sciences. Then you have to go to vet school, which is like medical school. Vet school is around 4 years also.
