It depends on the reason they came here. Was it persecution? I know several people who came here because of their political beliefs and asked for asylum. I know of one man who left his country and two days later his home was raided because they were looking to kill him. A friend sent him the newspaper report. We need to be supportive of those who are fleeing their county because of their life. We need to find a way to help those who need jobs, but as long as they are not in fear of their life they should be deported.

If they are illegal, absolutely deport them. The law is the law and just because criminals become born again Christians after committing crimes doesn't mean they shouldn't be punished or that they get to evade the electric chair. Illegal is illegal and lawbreakers should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Let them go back to their country and spread their born-again Christianity to their country of origin. That country needs them more than we do.

The key word "illegal" and yes they get "deported" also. That is why we have a separation of Church and State. So government can not be influenced by religion and religion by government.

Doesn't matter what religion a person claims. I am born again, and I would hate to see a fellow believer have to go, but...if he's here illegally, then HE HAS TO GO!

If I shot your mother and became a born again Christian should I not have to go to jail, and allowed to own a pistol?

That's about how dumb your question sounded.

Illegals are illegals - I could care less here they are originally from, the color of their skin, or their religion. This is a legal issue, not one about demographics.

If they are illegal, then deport them. I don't care what religion they are.

the law is the law.

if someone who is not a Christian is being deported, then the Christian should be too.

no one is above the law, or everyone is.
