find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

EXERCISE!!! When you have a lot to lose it literally falls off if you start getting exercise you weren't getting before. A few years ago I lost 30 lbs. - All I did was start running on the treadmill - I didn't diet so much as I just stopped eating crap....if you cut out junk food and even start walking a lot I'm sure you'll see results pretty fast - and once you start seeing results, you'll be encouraged to keep going.

Sorry, but there is no easy way. There are no magic bullets. It all comes down to eating right and getting alot of exercise (and walking doesn't count unless you are over 50 or ill). Sorry, but that's the truth. Everything else is just a sales pitch, and it won't work.

I would start by reading books by Richard Simmons. Even though his stuff isn't the latest hot diet advice, his plan works because it is sane. And you won't go insane following it! Good luck - you can do it! :-)
