When you were listening to the radio, tv news, or songs, sometimes people were speaking, singing so fast. Do you feel the same way that you are not able to understand it because it's fast?? I often doubt myself. Is it my listening ability problem?

Believe me, it's not just you. I really have problems when the person has an accent of any kind. And when I get a telemarketer, I'm in trouble, because they seem to use people from other countries a lot. Just a few weeks ago my parents sold a vehicle. A man called and asked if I knew where to find a "psychic." I told him this was an architectural firm. He said he was looking at it, but he kept saying "psychic," (plus he was saying it was in the next town over, in my defense). Finally, it clicked--he was asking about the Suzuki "Sidekick" they were selling. He was Haitian, and even when I saw him face to face, I had trouble understanding him!
And I'm even worse with lyrics. My husband loves the singer Meatloaf, and the song "I'm Still Alive" has become his theme song. Unfortunately, I ruined it for him when I misinterpreted the lyric "I'm a ticker on the bomb that you can't hold back." I could have sworn at first he was singing "I'm the chicken on the farm. . ."

when youre used talking with fast speaker you'll understand fully what they're saying but if not only few words will be understood.

don't worry, I even have the same problem, and mostly on the phone (grrrr, hate it).
