You can check what any professino makes in your area on www.salary.com. Engineering is the highest paying field out of all fields and specialties with an undergraduate degree only. Chemical is the highest within engineering. If you like Chem Eng and you like geology try majoring in Chem Eng and doing a minor in geology or double majoring.

My summer season includes 10 weeks. I spend that ingredient doing family members issues and resting from the school year that merely finished. I even have 3 workshops/instructions scheduled already. I ought to bathe and reorganize my branch up in college. I genuinely have a committee assembly scheduled for the middle of June. I genuinely have a jury summons for the middle of June. I schedule all my wellbeing practitioner verify-ups, dental verify-ups, eye tests etc for summer season months so i don't ought to take off from college to do those issues. i might elect to make clean that i'm paid for 10 months of coaching and elect to have my pay verify divided into 12 month-to-month tests so as that i won't be in a position to bypass and not using a paycheck for the two a million/2 months in the summer season. I additionally get to college each morning in the process the school year at 7:40 5 and don't bypass away in the afternoon until 5:30 or 6:00. I take artwork domicile merely approximately each evening, grading, making plans, discern correspondence, etc. I genuinely have been coaching for merely approximately 30 years and with further stages, responsibilities, and achievements have an annual earnings of roughly $50,000. I artwork on the weekends making waiting for the week to come again and grading papers from the week merely carried out. I attend ball video games, choir, orchestra and band stay shows, musicals, performs and discern nights all in the time of afterschool hours. I genuinely have tutoring every day after college. I say all of this simply by fact there are those available that think of instructors basically artwork 9 months a year from 8 to 4 and are over paid. not something ought to be further from the certainty. permit those people take my job for a month, or maybe a week and then enable them to speak approximately instructors.

Chemical Engineers earn the most out of any bachelors of science degree (that is, without grad school). However Chemical Engineering is a very difficult major, but you can probably handle it. =)

Check with the placement office in your school - they'd know better than most.

But a really good petrogeologist who can evaluate where to drill for oil, and drill producing wells on a regular basis, will be worth his weight in gold.
