Yes, this part has been fulfilled for the last 2,000 years, and especially so today, since Satan's time is near an end, and he knows it, so he's turning up the heat against Christians. America and a few western nations are the only places in the world where Christians aren't being tortured, imprisoned and killed for their faith today. I believe the day is coming when even those nations will no longer be a safe haven.

Taking a single verse from its context can be a dangerous thing. In the whole passage Jesus is speaking of the end times. I think we have yet to see these days, but perhaps we may be close. The trouble with prophecy is that most texts on it tend to be ambiguous and are left open to personal interpretation.

It hasn't been completely fulfilled yet, but it is on it's way. To the answerers who tried to apply this to Americans: America did not exist 2000 years ago, so Jesus most certainly wasn't speaking of Americans. He was speaking of His followers.

Cause and effect.
Hitler could have said the same thing to his followers.
There's nothing prophetic about it.
If you take a stance on one side of a heated issue, you will be hated by some people. It's pretty much standard.

jesus is not hated by all nations. Christianity is all over the place so I'd have to say it was a false prophecy

Nobody hates you because of Jesus. They hate you because you're telling them that they'll burn in Hell and aren't as good as you.

Muslims in America must feel the same way and I'm sure they don't spout off about Jesus like Christians do.

Do you mean the nation? Well, I'd say not all nations hate us, and there are plenty of other nations that have been hated before us. So, no.

The word "nations" refers to the transliteration ethnos - which is where we get the word ethnicities. It does not refer to a geographical nation but race.

Did Jesus tell you how to spell prophecy? Are you referring to the US as hated, or Christians? Elaborate...
