Why do they also ask why Atheists are here in R & S?

Can't they make up their minds?

Atheism is irresponsibility in a nutshell. That's a sin, not a religion. Evolution is not a religion, but natural selection is pretty close to a religious doctrine that glorifies the myth of 'Mother Earth'.

I know why you're here. It's because of a hunger, created in you. All desire has a proper fulfillment, even the desire for God. Frustrating isn't it? To be both attracted, and repelled by the object of your desire. Phobic actually...

Are you a dolt, or are you being deliberately stupid? "Christians" is a GROUP of people. One doesn't know what the other is doing or saying, especially here on Y!A.

Do you need me to spell it out for you? One Christian mistakenly thinks non-religious people are a religion. So all that person's questions will sound a stupid as you say. Or, it may be that that particular "Christian" is young, naive, or simply mistaken (taught incorrectly).

Whereas another, more educated/older/smarter Christian who is new to the Y!A board here at R&S will naturally wonder why there are non-religious folk on a supposedly religious board.

"Can't they make up their minds?" makes it sound like you think Christians email each other furiously about you just to see if they can come up with a plan to unbalance you. Oh yeah, the conspiracy theory rears its ugly head.

they have made up their minds. thats why they're atheists. i guess they hang around religion cos thats what they dont believe in and they like to give their opinion about it.

what i hate most, is how some atheist dont have the respect for others and are just ridiculously arrogant. not all atheist are like that, only the immature ones who dont know how to be tolerant.

They can only understand things in terms of a religion. It's the only frame of reference they have; they can't seem to imagine people out there thinking on their own. If these things aren't religions, how do we know what to think?

Good point. Let's extend it a little and think on the notion that some christians get offended when you refer to their 'personal faith' as a religion - by that admission those christians probably ought not be here.

I'm being absurd, of course, but the point is a point is a point.

LOL! I am a Christian and I find that really smart and funny!

I also accept evolution as valid science as do most Christians.

If they say Christianity isn't a religion, it's a relationship, why do they post in R & S rather than Family & Relationships?

Do we? I've seen many a Christian wonder why atheists are in this category asking and answering questions since it isn't a religion. I've never heard a Christian call evolution a religion, either. I'm a Christian evolutionist and i don't think it's a religion. That's silly! I think you are the one who needs to make up his mind.

They made up their minds to believe in an invisible being. That pretty much fried the circuitry and they can't be asked to make consistent decisions anymore.

"Why are Atheists (or Jews, Muslims or anyone else non conforming to my particular sect) here in R&S?"

"Can't you show some respect for people's beliefs?" (meaning MY beliefs; although it's quite OK when I bash other beliefs)
