The Old Testament represents a period of time when the Jews were in covenant with the Lord on their own, meaning they atoned for their own sins directly with the Lord at the Temple.

In between the two testament represents a period of 450 years when the people did not hear the voice of the Lord.

The New Testament represents a new covenant between the Lord and all people, Jews and Gentiles alike, through the blood atonement of Jesus Christ.

Basically the Old Testament is about the bad news of our fall from grace and the promise of a Savior who would arrive at some point in the history of the Hebrew people, the New Testament is the fulfillment of that promise in Jesus Christ.

No differences both are the word of God according to 2 Timothy 3:16: All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.

the differences about before and after Christ in only for the time that were written and it is true we are not under the old covenant for example tithing you never see that in the new testament, but if you don´t read the complete new testament you won´t understand the bible maybe people think that understand the bible but with only a simple question you can realize that is not true that know the content of the bible.

The Old Testament is full of violence, bloodshed, wars, and wrath. The New Testament is much calmer and tells the story of Jesus. The main exception is the book of Revelations at the end of the New Testament. It's full of monsters, demons, battles, and death.

Jesus Christ, the only Son of God who did for us what we could not do for ourselves -- pay our price for our sins. His death paid our price. He is, therefore our Saviour and Redeemer. His life was a gift we did not deserve...but God's love was greater.
