Though many centuries ago, The cross was always considered something bad or evil, because it used to be for crucification. But now a day...it is considered a good symbol, but only in a way to represent a reminder of those that did die on the cross repented and then they were assured salvation.

foolishness, sadly.
Perishing here meaning those who do not believe, not those who are physically dying. We're all physically dying. The message of the cross looks like foolishness to those who choose not to believe.
If that's the case, I'll be a fool for Him.

Dude, be intelligent for a sec, no one is going to perish, no one is going to burn. Murders, Nuns, Dalai Lamas and Clerics will all face the same fate-when they die, there is No afterlife.

I would think the message is the same no matter what your status. Look at the man dying next to Jesus. It wasn't to late for him. It's not to late for anyone who has not died yet.
