and there has never been at any time a non believer who pursued, tortured or killed a Christian?
look thing get screwed up when man thinks he is in control, that probably why that happened.
Because my "sect" as you call it, is not widely excepted by other Christians i kinda see what you are talking about. But that doesn't make all Christians bad does it?

First of all, this is a dumb question to ask.
That's like saying that "you" are responsible for something that others did. The Bible is very clear about one man's sin NOT BEING on another man's head, but on the person's head who DID whatever. So...why are you trying to say that past things by a 'sect' involves *every* Christian?
I'm sure your forefathers probably did a ton of stuff before you were born. Does that mean that YOU are responsible for that and persecuted those people that your forefathers may have? Did that have to do with your decision or theirs?
I'm not responsible for what my ancestors did to somebody. I can't change that, I didn't agree to it (having not even been born) and I'm not about to "blame" myself for something I had no control of or part in.
But perhaps you can explain why humans in general like to target "Christianity"...but don't see a problem with doing all of your above mentioned things to one another? On yeah...let's not forget that these are PRESENT DAY happenings...not just something a long time ago or a one-time event. These things happen daily. And for your info...Christians are among the most persecuted of peoples (and I am not excluding others who are also persecuted for their faith, race, etc.) on this earth.

News flash friend, the people who did that stuff were pretty much still trying to get out of the barbarian stage at that point in time. I am assuming that you are referring to the Crusades etc. That was a pretty violent time in history and may I remind you that Christians were also persecuted for being different (ancient Rome etc.) Many people were converted to Islam at the point of the sword too, including many Christians. Forced conversion, torture and extermination of people perceived by the majority as different has been going on for centuries.

I am sure the reason is no different than any other faith...
But, I would say intolerance. Perhaps even fear.
Remember though, the Moors killed many Christians before the inquistion. The inquistion could very well have been due to a desire to never face a threat to Christianity (Catholicism specifally).

There were many reasons depending on the time period, but I would say that it was never right to do so, and a perversion of God's word that led them to do this. Just as slavery was wrong.
But it is not just Christians that have done that throughout history! It was very common long before Christianity to be killed, raped, pillaged and turned into slaves because of your religion. Where do you think Christians came from? Slavery to Roman "atheist's" and pagan worshipers!
From those believing in Zeus, to Jew's, to Muslims, to Buddhists, to atheist's. (Currently "atheist" China is putting people in prison and sentencing them to death because religion is not allowed, extremist Muslims are waging war on all people who will not convert and executing them for not converting)
The difference between Christians and many other religions is that Christians always end up righting there own ship and realizing the error of there ways. Slavery is a perfect example! It was not atheist's who cared for the slave, it was the Christians who figured out that slavery was wrong and fought and died to end it.

Far too head on for any christians to answer! I doubt you'll get 5 responses from Christians for this one. Someone will come out with some s*** though. Something like-tortured was the Jewish word for 'kissed' in them times but changed in the new testament when Jesus was tortured...or 'killed' wasn't to be taken literally, it meant 'talked to' in the biblical sense...

Christians, per se, have never done this. The Holy Roman Catholic church and the Church of England has. But, both of them are more political a political power than Christian. Same as with Muslims.

Its called a mistake.
It would be useless for me to argue to you that these type of things never happened, because they did. However, that is not to say that the Christians of today are of the same mindset as the Christians that did these terrible things.
"Christian" literally means follower of Christ. The "Christians" that did these things were not acting Christ-like. They were wrong.

Anyone can claim to be "Christian" it doesn't mean they really are. If the heart is polluted, killing and torture etc. is a bi-product. I am none of the above sects nor am I Jewish.

Christianity does not pursue, torture and kill people. However, some people who were Christians did so in the name of God. They were wrong. Just like the Muslims who kill all non-Muslims who won't convert.
