Because the politicians choose not to aknowledge the difference. Most of us average American tax payers do know the distinction... but we don't seem to count anymore....

I think they've misted the air with something because there's obviously alot of people affected by a major short circuit to not be able to understand the difference. I certainly get it and it seems pretty basic to me.....not some real tough concept to grasp.....immigration is the biggest word and the dictionary gives really basic definations for legal, illegal etc. I don't get the confusion. Right...wrong....

I say is not hard for me so I pass.
I know that Illegal is the problem and that something should be done...
Like the country from where this people immigrate from and the US have to come together to have a solution on it.
Is not just for US to fix the problem...

I know. I mean people hate immigrants but they are wrong. It's the illegal immagrents that are the problem.

I agree.

It's not that people want to be here...this country was built on immigration...it's that they're coming into the country illegally.

Actually i think there isn't that much room here for immigrants BECAUSE of ILLEGALS.
