Interesting how did not say you weren't Catholic. You just said you didn't live a Catholic life. Am I to assume you are a Catholic that does not live a Catholic life?
In either case, if you are going to work in a Catholic school, you best be prepared to promote Catholic beleifs and practices - by living the Catholic life.
Your life is "private" in the sense that there are aspects of your life you can withhold from other human beings. There is nothing, however, that you can hide from God. ALL aspects of your life are known to God, not matter how secret they may be to other human beings.
Worrying about how other people see you is a fruitless venture, because you expend all kinds of energy pretending to be somebody you are not.
Right now, you have to pretend to be someone that does not abuse alcohol. you have to pretend to be someone who does not swear and take the Lord's Name in vain. You have to pretend to value chastity.
If you prioritized God's view of you, you would endeavor to live a Christ-like life and, thus, have nothing to hide from other people.

It sounds like you're sadistic and don't feel self worth or that you're a Child of God. You have to ask yourself these questions, "Are God’s commandments meant to bring us happiness or keep us from it?" ... & ... "Are we free to determine what is good and evil?"
Okay, sinning/ wrong doings/ transgressions is something we ALL do. Catholic's have broken sin into Venial Sin and Mortal sin ... Venial sin is stuff like thinking, "I'm so lonly and I'll never be anything" (WRONG) you're God's creation ... He love's you .... Moral sin is stuff like "Fornication" in which you should confess your sins to a Priest before taking the Eucharist.
In regards to working at the Church school ... I hope that you are not corrupting the students with your behaviors and personal beliefs ... additionally, I do hope that you'll find the love in being God's child to pick yourself up and tenatiously grasp the life God has planned for you.

That would not be setting a good example to the kids you would teach. We are all sinners but we should work on getting rid of those things which keep us from God. Therefore we come closer to God and then set an example for our brothers and sisters and especially the little ones.

People don't care as long as you don't do it while at school. Ever seen a Catholic criticizing another Catholic, nah, it's not our style.
