A troll is someone who stays around on a forum and stirs up trouble amongst the participants, Their tactics include blunt bashes to a certain group of people, starting random arguments on no sorts of basis or research, or posing as one of the other groups and then saying abnormal things (i.e. a troll would post a question like this "Why are atheists so stoopid?" posing as a Christian and mispelling the word stupid on purpose). Most of the people found in the R+S are trolls to some extent.

I was so disappointed that Yahoo Answers had trolls...:o( I thought they only plagued chat rooms. A troll is someone like: Rico, Nowhere Girl, Cheryl B. Someone who answers a serious question with a disgusting or pornographic remark. Check out their profiles and look at the questions they ask, and also their answers. Trolls try to poison a chat room and evidentally this place by their hatred and bigotry and they're a general pain in the toosh. Number one rule "Do not feed the trolls"- meaning, do not respond to their answers or questions. You're just asking for trouble.
