I know that some people believe that Al Gore is not totally accurate about the effects of global warming, but take a look at this article: http://news.yahoo.com/s/livescience/20070515/sc_livescience/californiasizedareaoficemeltsinantarctica

Do you think this is a cause for alarm, when you consider the impact on global warming and the resulting problems with rising sea-water levels?

I do think he is telling the truth. I think if you ask 20 top scientists if global warming is a real concern, you will get an answer that encompasses many diferrent scenarios but the answer in the end will still be "Yes, we are killing our earth".
I remember heaing about global warming years ago and so many people thought it was just some liberal scare tactic and peple were denouncing it as false info etc.
I remember thinking at that time... what if there is only a 1% chance that it is true? Would it harm anything for us to change our habits? Would it harm us in any way to spread Less pollution? It does not harm us to change our thought patterns and consume less. It does not harm us to give up the parasite mentality of taking all you can and then moving on. At this time, we have nothing to move on to. There is just one earth, one humankind and it may be our last opportunity to change for the better.

The effects of global warming are any-ones guess. Yes, the earth is getting warmer. However, Al Gore does not have a clue about the causes of global warming , nor does anyone that believes him. Once you really understand the real reasons the earth is getting warmer, you realize that there is nothing that anybody can do about it accept deal with it. Al Gore found a way to deal with it by creating hysteria, and then found a way to make a buck, period.

Pollution control, alternative energy etc. etc. are all good concerns and ideas, and should be pursued. However, those issues are a separate topic of importance and have nothing to do with global warming.

I would like to know why the "scientists" who want to "talk out against" Al Gore's global warming (and there are many) are being in a sense hushed from speaking out. There are ALWAYS 2 sides, and why are we only hearing the Gore side.

There are many avenues to help out in the global warming. We must however proceed with CAUTION, since some of the solutions cause other dire consequences. For a small example look at the incadescent light bulb. How are we to dispose of used incadescent light bulbs when they do have mercury in them. I am just using this as a "small example" as why the solutions need to be looked at for all impacts before they are put to the actual use.

all the best lies contain an element of truth - there is a legitimate scientific debate to ascertain the impact of human activity on climate. BUT' an inconvenient truth' is pure propaganda designed to exaggerate the consequences and to sell the Globalist "solution" which includes carbon tax which will destroy the middle class business of the western world and to build up public support for "eugenics" which in this context is the culling of billions of the world population. This was first promoted by the "Club of Rome" in the 1968 funded by the Rothschilds and chaired by David Rockefeller which was the beginning of the modern "environmental" movement. Henry Kissinger promoted the ideas of population reduction in 1974, using famines, disease and war. Kissinger to this day is a go-between betwen every US President and the Rothschilds and other Luciferians of the secret government who are behind them. Gore is one of their stooges too. BTW the Rothschilds are also behind the CFR .

Global warming is a reality so as the melting of the ice in polar locations and top of the the mountains too, so I think this is sufficient to be concern about this situation, but, that is not the real problem, the real problem is what to do, who, when, how, there are millions of person worldwide concerned but I don't see anyone taking effective actions to solve the problem even to minimize it.in a reasonable period of time.

The people that dont believe what he and all the scientist are saying about global warming are the ones that use the fact that he is a politician as an excuse to do nothing to save our planet.

The ones that doesnt believe him are the ones that prefer to believe that there is not a problem to continue their selfish lifes.

Shame on those people...HE IS TELLING THE TRUTH!

DO SOMETHING PEOPLE...SAVE OUR PLANET!

While no one has the absolute facts, I think that Al Gore is spreading important news and we all need to heed the warnings.

I remember as a child I looked at the smoke stacks over factories and I thought that they could not be good for the environment. I had no idea how right I was at that time and now it is so much more evident.

Take care,
Troy

Who the hell cares about Gore's electric bill? I don't. Not when I read in today's news that a piece of the Antarctica the size of California has melted. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!!!!! The reports are telling you that the melting is happening three to five times faster than it was originally thought. Instead of being up to your neck in salt water in 80 years, looks like we're looking at 20 years. So that Florida beachfront property that you have for your retirement is going to be under 30 feet of water by the time you reach retirement age, dude. So get some property in Arizona or South Georgia if you want beachfront in 2050.

did you read the last sentence? no further melting has been detected in 2 years.
