In December My Left leg, left foot, left butt cheek, and between my legs went numb.. well i waited for a week then went to the ER. They didnt know whats was causeing it So I finally got an appointment to see a neurologist in June this year and YES its all still numb sense December no change. I have scholiocis of the spine. I was thinking that was it maybe pinching a nerve.. I have no pain at all just numb. It effects me when i have sex i dont feel anything. A few weeks ago i was like taking up to 5 mins to get my urine to start flowing when i would go to the bathroom and now this week i cant stop it i urinate on my self before i can get to the bathroom. The place that i am going to see the doctor is a free hospital i have no insurance or money to pay to see a doctor so i have got to wait forever to see a doctor. I am 39 years old. When i seen the Doc in the ER he did hot and cold test i could not feel them. He kept saying stuff about MS.. Its like its all asleep and can't wake up.

GO TO THE ER IMMEDIATELY. UNLESS YOU WANT TO WEAR A DIAPER FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. SOUNDS LIKE SERIOUS NERVE COMPRESSION. THIS IS CONSIDERED AN EMERGENCY.YOU MAY NEED AN MRI SCAN AND NEUROSURGICAL CONSULT.

HOSPITAL SOCIAL WORKER SHOLD BE ABLE TO TELL YOU WHAT IS AVAILABLE FOR INDIGENT CARE.

MS USUALLY DOESNT JUST FOLLOW ONE NERVE, BUT IS PATCHY. NO WAY TO TELL W/O APPROPRIATE LAB AND IMAGING EXAMS OF THE BRAIN AND LOW BACK. MAY BE A DISC FRAGMENT. NUMBNESS MORE SERIOUS THAN PAIN, ESPECIALLYT WHEN COMBINED W/ MOTOR LOSS

GOD BLESS

Firstly I'd be seeing my G.P. as everyone has probably already said. I get that kind of pain but I know what mine is from and its nothing to do with your kind. It may be a vein problem as I'm told deep vein thrombosis is very painful and an ultra sound will let you know if this is the problem. You never said how long you've had this pain so that makes it harder to judge as at first I thought you'd slept or sat too long in the wrong position. Have you tried tiger oil or deep heat to see if that helps. Tiger balm is wonderful for my arthritis better than deep heat. I'm on tramadol but thats for something else but you need to find the cause of your pain b4 you can think of what to take, for now though panamax cant hurt.As for sex its been 8 yrs for me, I haven't had any since my surgery so I can't help you there. Wish I could I am looking for a partner I'm only 42 yrs old and feeling lonely.

MS would be multiple sclerosis- and that could indeed cause the numbness. My first thought was a stroke, when you spoke of numbness on the left side of your body.

Get your doctor to explain until you understand. Then fight back.

Good luck.

Why would you ask total strangers for medical diagnosis? Go to your doctor. Don't ask strangers who haven't gone to medical school.
