I feel I know the answer to this, I just want to see if someone can confirm it for me The text the questio refers to is this.

18 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

What is taking away from the Book of Revelation? Why would this be such a serious warning if only a Bible translater could do it? Does anyone really know what this means, taking away?

Just one example - in China the official Church is monitored by the Government and THE BOOK OF REVELATION IS FORBIDDEN TO BE READ!

Chinese Christians have to choose between such a Church and the underground Church, where ALL scripture can be read.

Revelation contains some important universal truths which the Devil does not want us to know, such as "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last." It's the only book that fully warns us about the tribulation to come, and the need to be prepared to suffer for the truth.

It means if any man takes or add from the Word of God he will be punished. So if you add on something that is not in the Bible or change the word of God of it's meanings then you have trouble with God.

Just note The modern translations of the Bibles takes the Blood out so that is why most preachers uses the King James Bibles.
