Well i would reccommend Glucosamine capsules and i would carry on taking codliver 2.... Exercise is good for the joints so i wouldnt stop.. Advise wrist strap to help to strengthen the wrist and supports them whilst doin heavy lifting. Try weight bearing exercises like pilates ( the plank) that will strengthen those wrists.. I have weak wrist and i have been doin the plank every other day and have seen a improvement. good luck hope this is helpful. Try to lower your weights also!

Start wearing wrist supports when working out and wrist braces while sleeping, you could be getting tendonitis, also try taking 2 Aleve's a day for a week to help with the inflammation and Call me in the morning! (haha) hope this helps. If not get an X-Ray, to check for arthritis.

Hi Toby, as a science based practitioner I would have been surprised if you had got any benefit, above psychological/placebo, from cod liver oil. It is useful for modifying cholesterol pattens and is rich in vitamin D.

An Anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen have their problems, but an odd one when it is uncomfortable might at least reduce the discomfort. Have a word with your trainer and check you are doing all your exercises properly and are not putting inappropriate strain on your wrists. Also if the place you train has a sports physio try and see them, something simple like heat or ultrasound might help you and would avoid medication.

Get a consult from a sports medicine specialist with respect to appropriate support devices for your wrist while you do lifts...and please promise not to take the advice of Nurse Lola who appears to be hitting on you. So not professional.

A friend takes a glucosamine supplement for their joints and it works for her. I think it is called Procossa II. I can find out more if you like.

buy some castor oil & rub some, generously, on your joints. this lubricates them, moisturizes them & eleviates pain because they won't be dry (inside of course). I do that, as I suffer from mild arthiritis pain (I'm only 31) and it helps. you can buy it really cheap.

Try Glucosamine. It works for our dog's joint pain and I have colleagues with bad joint problems that also take it and have good results.

Try Active-On. It really works, but I hate the commercials!
