Well,
I am a pro-lifer and I did not support GWB. But as bad as he has done, I think Gore or Kerry would have been worse.
I think your numbers are off also you might check your source.
No, who do you think started those two wars? How about the planes that killed 3000 innocent people? Sure Iraq is a stretch and in hindsight a mistake, but you cannot defend Saddam as a good and fair leader. I don't think it would be fair to pull out and leave that country to genocide and civil war that would make what has happened now look like Disneyland.
Good Luck!
Peace!

I'm not a fan of President Bush, but there are several problems with your logic.
1. There is a difference between a human embryo, or BABY, and a murderer that is executed. If one can't see the difference, then their perspective is seriously flawed. The murderer essentially CHOSE to be executed by murdering. The baby did not choose to be aborted.
2. The war in Afghanistan is a matter of cause and effect. The Taliban, which was part of the terrorist organization that attacked us on 9/11, was situated in Afghanistan. It makes sense, then, that we would go after them, doesn't it? That would be like saying that going to war against Japan and Germany was wrong, even though Japan attacked us first, and Germany declared war on us days later...BEFORE we declared war on them!
3. Hundreds of thousands? The Iraqi government disagrees. Perhaps the death toll is about 100,000 from both countries, but there's also no way to tell how many of them were "innocent" civilians and how many of them were not.
4. "Starting a war" does not make a bad president. If that was the case, then all of our wartime presidents would be considered horrible people. And don't even get me started on how many civilian casualties there were in Vietnam and WWII! Starting a war on false pretenses, THAT would be wrong. And there's no way to prove whether or not the war in Iraq was, in fact, started on false pretenses intentionally. As far as we know, the information we received was flawed. That's all. And we can't even prove that the president and his cabinet KNEW that it was flawed, or that they didn't know.
So my point is, just about anything can be justified.
And by the way, I'm not "for" the war in Iraq, either, nor am I "for" any war. I feel that some wars are justified, but that doesn't mean I like them.

They support bush because he is on their side in the most important issue of our time, and they can forgive him the rest. Only bush has the power to stop the ultimate evil of allowing equal rights for all citizens, regardless of sexual orientation. Can you imagine the horror if homosexuals were allowed to marry. That alone would destroy the institution of marriage, which otherwise is working 100% perfectly with no problems at all. The source of all divorces and other marital problems can be traced fundamentally to an issue of homosexuals demanding to be treated like real people.

Are some of you pro-lifers insinuating that rape victims choose to become pregnant?
I hear that criminals choose to commit the crimes but WHAT HAS A RAPE VICTIM CHOSEN?
I say if you're so pro-life then why don't you take care of all the unwanted/unaffordable children that you're forcing someone else to give birth to. Is it fair that the child be born into an unwanting and unloving poverty because the parents made a mistake?

Who said all pro-lifers do?
I'm pro-life, anti-choice, anti-death penalty, I'm gay, I'm atheist, and wholely against pretty much every thing GWB has done in office.
Don't forget, fundy Christians aren't the only pro-life/anti-choice folk out there. I know of at least four other atheists here or in recent memory who were also pro-life/anti-choice.

I can't believe you can even navigate a keyboard.
Perhaps you would like to include the reputable news source where you get the death toll.
You also can't seem to distinguish between punishing a criminal and killing an innocent child.
And who said us pro-lifers support George Bush. Did it occur to you that for many of us considering the alternative we held our noses and voted for him?
Hey I found a lunch Troll! And I was about to post they don't exist.

I think the code word for it is - Democracy - that is their war standard they use to invade other countries, while crying - Peace and Security. Same form of Roman Rule used by Julius, the man who put the face on it.

Although I am not for the death penalty and I believe we need to try to somehow find peace in this war but one thing he did do well is stop embryonic stem cell research that could have killed much life. I give him much credit for that.
