Buy a product called"Natures Miracle"..pour into a spray bottle and spray..make sure the area is very wet and leave and let dry.( do not dilute with any other product).
It works..I've used it for over 20 yrs and it never fails.
It is made to dissolve any protien stain or odor..and what your described is a protien type problem.
You can buy it at pet stores and feed & grains.
Try it and your problem will be solved.
The product will not damage wood floors or walls..I've never found a surface that it did damage.
And no I don't work for the company.

I am a housewife, so I do all the cleaning. If the area is carpeted, I would suggest vacuuming really well, and then steam cleaning the carpet using a pet odor removal formula. This can sometimes take a couple of times if the odors have seeped into the pads. If the basement floor is hardwood, or any other type of hard flooring, clean it well with an approved cleaner for that particular floor. After cleaning the floors well, open a window to let it air out. Sometimes using fans in addition to open windows, will keep fresh air constantly circulating through the room. The last thing that I could suggest is using air fresheners frequently like sprays or plug-ins until you feel like the bad odor is eliminated. I hope that this will be helpful to you.

If it's the floor you're speaking of, scrub it with hot Clorox water. Let it dry, the wash it down with hot Pine Sol water. Open any windows that can be opened to air the basement out. You can either spray Lysol (white can has best scent) or spray Febreeze often in the area. The Clorox is great at removing dog odors but the Pine Sol will remove any lingering odors. Good luck!!!

Try Joy! Liquid Joy. It's great for bathing dogs and cleaning up after them. (Closest to dogs' PH, according to vet.) Mix it with water to dab on puppy mistakes in the house. Use a bucket of Joy and warm water when hosing down your patio (or basement). A friend even used it on an old wooden chopping block with good results.
Poor dog! A basement?

On almost every type of floor (except carpet) use a bleach solution. After the bleach, you can usually use Lysol, Pine Sol, and the like to give it a fresher smell. If theres any urine stains, that should get rid of them. If carpet, try cleaning it (but personally, I don't think I'd ever be able to get the feeling of it being clean - I'd replace it).

Depends on what is on the floor there? If it is a concrete floor, use lots of bleach, and some Frebreeze. It may take a few cleanings but that should work. If is is wood, or carpeted, you will probably have to remove it, and replace it to really cure your problem.

If the odor is from the dog peeing then try putting white vinegar on the area that smells. That will cut the ammonia smell.

Try a white vinegar and water solution for non fabric surfaces. Shampoo carpets or use baking soda (great oder absorber!) and let sit on dry carpet then vacuum up.
