Disgraceful is not the word! It's scary! Unless someone made an home-made video and somehow allowed it to come out in the open, how would we have found out about this? The question remains: "How many others would we find behind closed doors? After reading Kevin Trudeau's books on what the FDA is doing to get us all "obese", as they allow hundreds, if not thousands of chemicals in foods that don't have to be listed on the package and fill all of our children's cereal boxes with "fructose" (a deadly poison!) to get them all obese by the time they are adults... and add all sorts of stuff in the foods to get people not only addicted to them but always more hungry for more... and more, and more!!! The sad part is that most people won't even have a clue about it until it is too late as it doesn't always catch up with us as fast as it did that poor child! What's even worse, is that there are more of them at the Senate than there are Senators... who gladly accept the "monetary" gifts, these ones discreetly shove in their pockets to get their own regulations adopted... And what is sadder yet is that these guys should even be together... namely the "Food" and "Drug" Association! in perfect "synergy", as it were! Should you wish to know more about how they function and are making us all as sick as we can possibly be to just need as much as their "prescribed drugs" as possible, which make us "ill" somewhere else, etc., etc., etc. Isn't it just lovely??? What our governments are allowing these days???

Most kids are overweight from their parents substititing food for affection. If a child is upset, or hurts themself, the parent will give them a cookie (instead of giving them a hug), thus having the child relate food to making them feel better. Not only does that make the child fat now, but, when they grow up, that relationship to food sticks with them, so that whenever they are upset , they eat.

honestly, I couldn't even watch all of this. Your right, it is disgraceful. I feel so bad for this child, she never even had a chance to BE healthy, I hope she can overcome this in her life, but obviously she will have to do so on her own. This has to be another form of child abuse/neglect.

That is disgraceful. It looks like her and her mom could use a membership @ JennyCraig.
When you see the mom it's obvious where the girl learned her eating disorder.

I'm sure the parents don't let them get the proper amount of movement/excersise as well. Both the overeating and lack of movement will do that to anyone!

Sha little heart...that child is suffering

That's so sad. She is going to die very soon if they don't get her on a diet NOW. The parents should have gotten help long ago and stop feeding her the wrong foods.

that's nuts! I don't know if she's just spoiled and gets whatever she wants to eat or if it can be considered child abuse. assuming the child doesn't have some physical problem as I've seen in other cases.

That was just beyond shocking. Honestly....why aren't these parents being held responsible??? If you helped your child to harm themselves in any other way (e.g., gave them booze, starved them, did not buckle them up) you would be arrested. Why not in this case?? Kids will only eat what is presented to them -- she is not driving herself to the store, right??

Sad....so sad.

I can't imagine how much food you would have to eat to be half her size it's a shame really that she Will have to grow up that way because she hasn't been taught how to exercise or to manage how to eat properly.
