Religion is a choice, not something you are born with.

So if you choose to follow those facist doctrines why can't I discrimnate against you. I discrimnate against Nazis why not Christians?

Try it and see how far you get. You can discriminate all you want, it is up to the individual if they let you or not.

I agree. People discriminate against smokers. Smoking is a choice. Same thing. We should be able to discriminate against anyone for religious reasons. The dividing line is when laws are passed and enforced that discriminate on religious grounds or show preference on religious grounds. In a nutshell, we as individuals or groups of individuals can do what the law cannot rightfully do.

It's not called "discrimination" in that case.

You can't fire somebody for being Christian, but you can fire somebody for shooting his mouth off all the time about being Christian. You can't fire a teacher for her religion, but you can fire her for teaching religion in science class (usually, in some states...well, we're working on that).

People like "Brian H," by the way, are exactly, precisely the reason why we have separation of Church and State. "Oh no, I'm scared. LOL I don't think 1% of the population can discrimante in any meaningful way." In other words, as a "Christian," he's comfortably in the majority, so why should he worry his fat head about other viewpoints.

In our secular society, we've agreed that we can all believe in whatever sorts of imaginary ideas help us get through the day; but none of us has any right to impose his or her imaginary ideas on anybody else. So if somebody does, then that somebody is at fault, and firing (etc) him or her is nice and legal and justified.

look, have an open mind and think.

I have read many of your question and notice that you are agents religion.

open your eyes and think who are those people that are killing, raping, torturing, stealing, abusing little girls and damaging our society today? these people are people like you that have no fear of God, that call the evil good and the good bad.

why you may ask?

because here you are trying to spread your thoughts that teaching a child not to steal, to respect your parents, to be good, to tell the truth and follow a good way of living bad.

and then say that telling kids to go party of and get drunk, o its OK to hang with your friends (which do drugs, make fun of other people), oh it's OK to do what you want. and then when they don't listen to you, when they don't come home, and they get drunk and drugged (and people abuse them or they kill someone or even them selfs). then what?

religion my friend whether it's Christian or not teaches people how to stop suffering from their every day problems and trust in God (not let the stress take over and commit suicide). It shows them how to be a better person (true we are all humand and will always sin, but we try our best) by following God's word.

so how could you say this is bad?

what are you teaching the world with your actions?

how is your family doing?

Jesus love you and wants to help you just like he helped me. let your self be guided by him. Think about it; what if God realy is real? do you have proof he is not? sure don't so you should worry.

God Bless

One last thing you can discriminat all you want (it's your choice and doesn't bug me at all), but I advice you it will be best not to for God is a God of justice.

Why discriminate at all?

No matter how evil a person may be, no matter the sum total of their outcomes, some good comes of all human life.

Hitler, for example -- total evil? No... for all the wrong and evil he did, for all the lives he took, all the innocents slaughtered in his name... he did unify and rebuild a proud and strong Germany which had been crushed after WWI by the League of Nation's unjust fines and penalties. He restored the people's pride.

In short -- for all his evil, and he had PLENTY of it... even he was capable of doing good. He was even capable of love, Eva Braum (sp) for example.

Discriminate against no one. Otherwise, you become the very thing you hate.

"He who fights with monsters might take care, lest he thereby become a monster. If you gaze for long into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you." -- Nietzsche.

we are discriminated by our religious beliefs. It's just a matter of action

George Bush believes that atheists aren't allowed to be citizens.

Are you serious??

Who are we as humans to judge another human.
While I stand at Heaven's Gates listening to my name being read out of the Book Of Life I'll be glad God passes judgement over me only. I couldn't care less what other people think of me. I live my life for Him only.

Guess you'll find out on Judgement Day.
Hope you don't discriminate.
God sure loves you!
