The one that is less oppressive and does not judge or condemn others who disagree. It would also be one that has adherents who are less likely to kill for their faith. For example, Christianity, Islam and Judaism all appear to be very violent and oppressive. One of the most beautiful religions appear to be Hinduism, but it is not as inclusive, simple or generic enough. In my opinion the best religions would be Taoism, Buddhism or a combination of both for their simplicity, practicality and non-violent, non-oppressive nature.

I do not have a religion, I live by Gods word and Ten Commandments. God said He hated religions and besides that, most religions think they are the only ones going to Heaven...
I Christian and that says it all...

First we have to understand that the word "religion" is latin for return to bondage. Christ came to free us. It's not about what man has set up. Visit churches. I would suggest going where the spirit of the Lord is present, free, and not quenched. A place of love, whole bible teachings, and truth. (not sugar coated messages). You obviously have the hunger, so now it's up to you to get out and find a church home where you can be rooted and work for the Lord. I can't say only non-denominational churches or Baptist or so on.. I can say go where the truth, confortable to you or not, is spoken and taught.

The one who makes you a better person. if is catholic, buddhist , taoist,orthodox does not matter. There are 11000 religions in the world most of them based on love and compassion...and teach a moral life. Does not matter if you pray in a temple , church or go in the nature and knee...is the same God.

Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe.
