Satan is the god of this world "lower case g".

Job 1:7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Isa 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

Now,,,Does that not sound like a god of this world (Little g)

At 2 Corinthians 4:4, Satan is called the "god of this world"

He is indeed an evil spirit creature who is trying to mislead the intire inhabited earth. (Revelation 12:9)
By the way the majority of people act, he is succeeding.

He worked for God and thought he could gather supporters to challenge God as if heaven were a democracy, so God showed him what's what and gave him the boot. Not quite deity status, but Satan is quite powerful.

Not at all. There is one God. The rest is his creation which can in no way come close to God. Since God is the source of all power, and satan uses (some amount of God given) power to distract and remove ppl from God's path...he has no power of his own, he himself, asked God, to be given the time and power to distract ppl (except for ones on whom God has done his emence favour) if he is already on the wrong path.

God Bless Brother.
assalamoalaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatihoo.

No. Satan is the second most powerful force in the universe, behind my God. But he is not equal to God, and while he is inherrently evil, he is not God.

He'd be considered the god of hell, so technically there are two gods, but christians try to argue that satan is just a fallen angel and not a god.

That must really be a confusing world.

Satan isn't a God, he is only a fallen angel. God is higher than angels.
