Rejoice, cause I must be doing something right.
Jesus said his true followers would be persecuted.

The Christians have answered well enough. You are blessed when you are persecuted for Jesus' sake, and I think that's when the Holy Spirit comes upon us the most. It's interesting that these Atheists responded as they have. I know for a fact that no group has been persecuted throughout history more than Christians - and we're hated by everyone. Especially in foreign countries. That's why I count it a blessing that we have freedoms in the US - something we'd all be wise to take advantage of while we have time. Remember, though, not to take unnecessary abuse. If someone is not listening, "shake the dust off your feet", and walk away.

Just think of all the rewards you're stacking up in heaven. If that doesn't work, think of how much worse other Christians in other countries are free to go through. Read Phillippians and James. They both talk a little about trials and persecution. Actually the whole Bible talks about it, but those are the two examples I can think up at the moment.

Be sure you are making the distintion between challenge and persecution. People frequently cry persecution when they are simply being challenged to answer.

As a Christian I am persecuted every day but I just pray about it and remember when Jesus was persecuted when he taught also..
I am not down and out over it, it means my witnessing did plant a seed and when Im persecuted and others are angry, they are wanting to know more about God.
God keeps me strong in doing His work.

How are you being persecuted exactly? Please explain.
I am a pagan living in a conservative mostly Christian Southern town, I can tell you about REAL persecution if you want and having people disagree with your beliefs or being unpopular is TAME and doesn't count as REAL persecution.

many answered to keep going and count it blessings. Those are proper perspectives. But I think your question is how do you continue? Or possibly do you assess what you are doing is right, or possibly is God telling you to stop by giving you obstacles?
You must find nourishment (again if you are a Christian) and continue to read the Scriptures and find fellow believers that you can talk to and find encouragement. You have to continue to pray, seeking that what you are doing is His will or not. If it is, then rely on His answer.

Oh, I love how all the "Christians" believe that they're the ones being persecuted.
Mean old secular society won't let them stone gay people or replace public school science class with Bible Study - this is what they consider having a "lifestyle" forced upon them! But brave martyrs that they are, they wear their "persecution" as a badge of honor, because (insert scripture).
You Christians are the majority, remember? It's been over 17 centuries since you were lion food. Since then, YOU'VE been the ones ruthlessly slaughtering everybody who refused to group-think with you.
Personally, I say we bring back the lions.

Offer it up to Jesus, and pray for those persecuting you.
Peace!

Name one group that doesn't get persecuted for something
Ironically, every religious group thinks it's a sign they are the true faith
I think that's funny
