If a evil god existed? They do exist. Every god and idol that is not God, and yes it is the Christian duty to oppose them.
If you are saying that- what if God was evil rather than good, would we oppose Him? I think this is a impossible situation. God and what He declares good is what is good. Good does not exist apart from His decree. God, ontologically must be perfect in His nature and attributes. Evil for Him is not possible.

If an evil god were in fact a "god," then opposing him would be a meaningless exercise in futility.
A god is inherently more powerful than mortals, and couldn't truly be opposed. You may hate him, but you couldn't really do anything to him.
Naturally, I realize that you are justifying your own opposition to the biblical God, which is really Who you're thinking about when you say "evil god."

Your question is a legitimate one; although I don't think you have a correct concept of what being a Christian means. There is only ONE God. He created EVERYTHING. Therefore He gets to decide what is good or evil. That's where we get our concept of good and evil. Now, if God actually creates everything, then he gets to make up the rules, so to speak. So we actually don't get to decide what is good or evil. It's a bit of a crude explanation, but I genuinely hope you get the idea I'm trying to express.

God would never be evil so I cannot honestly answer this question. God is loving and good..
If talking about Satan who is evil, I do oppose him..

Actually, I wouldn't say Satan is a god but the bible does refer to him as the Prince of the power of the Air. The bible also states he once had an actual throne on earth.

I still like to hope that people would be good hearted enough to come together and make a stand. It's a tough thing to imagine in a world like today, but deep down I believe most people are still good hearted. It's the world around us that has pickled society.
