Absolutely, positively, YES!! Prayer changes everything! There is power when you are on your knees!
I pray for the Salvation of my family & friends, I pray God's protection & guidance in our lives. I ask that He sends His Holy Spirit to live within us, so to guide us down the path of righteousness.
I pray that the Lord Jesus comes soon and takes His Children Home to be with Him in Eternity. I am ready to be forever in His Glorious Presence!
The Lord has blessed me in so many different ways and areas of my life. I am forever thankful for all that He does for me. I love the Lord with all my heart, thank You Jesus!
Lord bless you for standing up for prayer & the Lord!

Since I've been able to spread my wings ... well I've just been praying in the form of song to God ... Hope he doesn't think I sound like a "noisy gong, or a clanging symbal" (giggle, 1 Cor 13)
This is a good one to sing to God, Today, maybe:
I don't know if You can hear me
Or if You're even there
I don't know if You would listen
To a giggly giraffs prayer
Yes, I know I'm just an outcast
I shouldn't speak to you
Still I see Your face and wonder
Were You once an outcast too?
God help the outcasts
Hungry from birth
Show them the mercy
They don't find on earth
The lost and forgotten
They look to you still
God help the outcasts
Or nobody will
I ask for nothing
I can get by
But I know so many
Less lucky than I
God help the outcasts
The poor and downtrod
I thought we all were
The children of God
I don't know if there's a reason
Why some are blessed, some not
Why the few You seem to favor
They fear usFlee us
Try not to see us
God help the outcasts
The tattered, the torn
Seeking an answer
To why they were born
Winds of misfortune
Have blown them about
You made the outcasts
Don't cast them out
The poor and unlucky
The weak and the odd
I thought they all were
The children of God

I to believe that prayer changes things, as well as people, look at me if it wasn't for all the prayers from my loved ones I wouldn't be where I am today. But when i pray i pray for God's Will to be done in all of our lives, pray for His Love and comfort to abide in our lives. As for material things, I am happy with what I got, it may not be the best but to me it is, so it would be for God to have His Will done in our lives, the world and for His peace upon the world.

Yes I pray for loved ones, world peace, family peace, tolerance, acceptance and that hardened hearts be opened. I do not pray for things because my needs are met. I believe in the power of prayer. I also believe in putting action behind our prayers.
Peace be with you.

I pray for all these things and even more. I pray for others much more than I do myself. I believe prayer does change things...most of all for the person who prays.

I never pray for material things, God already supplies me with what He wants me to have.
I do pray for the world, loved ones, lost ones and ones teetering on the fence of which way to follow, good or evil.
Each day I pray for all people of the world and for the world.
The only thing I ask God is for the strength to help others.
In problems I ask Him not to move the mountain but give me the strength to get over it and gain wisdom and knowledge through this experience.

I pray for all of these things and more. Prayer is an amazing tool but action is required too. "Pray like everything depends on God, but work as if everything depends on you." God uses people often to accomplish His goals. The 'things' I pray for are not physical things however but usually good things for others.

For loved ones, then for anonymous people (groups of people, i.e. singles mothers, etc.) then for myself.
Never for things.
I do believe prayer changes things, I've seen Good working in my own family and myself.
