only one of my ears has the industrial piercing.

i got one industrial done. However, I know a boy who has both his done. I think it looks a little bulky, since its such a large piercing, but it really is whatever you want. The interesting thing is that at most stores that sell industrial bars, they sell them in packs of two. Thats actually the only way i can find them unless i get them online. I absolutely love my one-sided industrial but i would have to say do it on the side you don't sleep on and buy some numbing spray at your local walmart. Its a lifesaver. well maybe not life, but definately a sleep saver.

all the people i've seen/know with industrials have just one side pierced - but as with all piercings it's up to the individual, if you want symmetry then go with both, if you're going to balance it out with a different piercing then just one would look good.
as for national piercing day - does such a thing exist?!

coming from experience, you really dont want to do both at the same time or at all. I got my left ear done almost a year ago and it still hurts to sleep on. For the first, oh maybe ... 6 months, you can't even sleep on that side. So doing both isnt really a great idea.

where i come from a girl pierce both their ears as a baby. But if a boy wants to pierce they would pierce only one. As for when is national piercing day, i guess whenever you personally wants it to be.And about when you get your industrial pierced it up to the individual and what is their personal style

I got just one side done...it really is all up to you, I think it looks good with just one or both sides done.
