Since your'e an Atheist, I know my answer won't make it as "best answer" but I'm gonna add my 2 cents worth anyhow.

No part of life or the universe can be explained without God. If the Big Bang theory is correct then that was the method used to create the cosmos. IF the THEORY of evolution could be proven I would consider it part of God's plan.

As a Bible researcher, I try to harmonize science with the Bible. For example, I've discovered that the first chapter of Genesis explains that the Earth and universe was created way before the seven day period that most Christians consider the creation therefore showing that both Young Earth proponents and Old Earth supporters are both right. Read my article on the subject by clicking on the link listed as my reference

If DNA testing was done on all the remains in the so called "Jesus family tomb" and it was discovered that the persons were related exactly as they should be if it was the tomb of Jesus and the odds of that happening were a billion to 1, I'd consider it coincidence...just like Atheists believe life just happened and the earth being in EXACTLY the perfect spot for life to exist are coincidences.

I do not find anything that falls in this category...but then, I am a Christian, so obviously that is my answer.

My faith is not effected even if there is a natural explanation. God IS a natural explanation, lol. Faith is as well. I still believe in God even though I believe that much of evolution is likely true, particularly adaptation. I believe in God even though I know there are evil men in the world...and I do not believe they are possessed. I believe in God even when my pencil falls to the floor.

Logic, fact, and belief co-exist, one does not dispute the existence of the other.

I'm not saying "can't" because that's a strong word, and a bit presumptuous.

But at the beginning of any life on earth, cells had to form from non-living matter. In order for any species to evolve, at some point in the earth's history, living cells had to be regularly forming on their own. Then one had to "happen" to have the ability to reproduce and pass on genetic material. I'm not saying that's impossible, but we've never seen it. And it's a bit far-fetched if you ask me.... a living cell is more complex than a supercomputer. It's hard for me to believe that the formation of a living cell was a natural occurrence, and not ordered by God.

Mostly, how I get the Nile to flood each year so that I can have successful crops. If I don't give proper offerings, the river floods too much or not enough. You just can't explain that without the gods.

For all of scientists' posturing that life will spring spontaneously from the right mixture of primordial soup under the right circumstances, the evidence so far is that only life itself begets life.

in the last 2000 yrs, they still haven't been able to figure out the universe without attributing it to a creator. The laws of thermodynamics point to a creator (although an atheist said it wasn't the Christian one LOL)

I'm pretty sure, that all my questions will be answered when I see Him, since the scientists have pretty much answered them already for me ;)

Not knowing who God is creates questions such as this. The premise that somehow in time a natural explanation for things
apart from God is plausible comes from the devil's delusion to those who have never met God and understood His word.

Unfortunately, the explanation that refuses to acknowledge God will never be based in reality because God is very real and anything that explains Him away is a gross deception.

Everyone in here who denies God is always touting logic! OK
with me! Let's be logical!

If God is real, and He is as the Christians say He is, then He is INFINITE. Infinity in this case means totally unlimited in every aspect of his character and abilities. The word we use is "PERFECTION."

If a person were perfect and unlimited in all things it would stand to reason to believe that He doesn't ever change at all because one change in His perfection would make Him less than perfect. The only way to change ones perfection would be to take a step down.

Now if we look realistically at humans it is obvious to even the
least educated person that humans make tons of mistakes in their lives. The reason this is true is that we are "finite" which
means we are very limited and certainly imperfect. Because we are finite, we do violate God's wonderful gift - the conscience - and we disobey God. God gave us conscience
so we could determine what is right and what is wrong. We don't even need a Bible verse to know it either, as even little children know when they are dong wrong things without any parent or other adult to tell them. This verifies God's gift.

Romans 1:19-20 tells us that "God has put the knowledge of Himself in every man so that there are none with an excuse to deny His existence." Therefore, logically, irregardless of what
any person says to the contrary, there is a part of us that has absolute knowledge that God exists. Thus the scripture says,
"The fool has said in his heart that there is no God." Wouldn't
you agree that if a man has that knowledge in himself and he denies it he must be foolish or as the Bible says - a fool?

Now knowledge that comes from any other source than God has to be finite at best, so we are handicapped to start with.
But God has made it clear to us that when we do the things that violate His laws we are sinning - so all of us are sinners.
I have never heard one person in my whole life disagree with this, and I have talked with many people in 64 years.

Sin in and of itself is a spiritual disease of the soul. Because
God is Holy and Just He cannot allow sin in His kingdom, so mankind is without hope of any kind beyond the grave. To alter this hopless condition of the human soul, God sent the only perfect sacrifice that would suffice to open the door for us
to be forgiven and restored to fellowship with Him so we could be in the same position spiritually as Adam and Eve were originally. Christ died, and the blood atonement made it possible for anyone who would come to HIm and repent of their sin and receive this gift of salvation to enter God's presence both in this life and on into eternity.

Here is the thing that can't be understood by logic. God takes
a finite, unregenerate soul, cleanses it with the blood of Jesus
Christ, and receives it to Himself for all eternity. At the point of salvation, the soul which is DEAD IN SIN and trespasses is suddenly vitally alive for the first time. Revelation comes to that soul from God and all previous notions of life apart from God vanish, and the soul is made to see that it must be fully dependent on God for everything. The intellect is drastically heightened to understand the Bible where reading it many times before never yielded one ounce of truth from it. Prayer
brings the presence of God in such awesome power that it would be impossible to deny it. Everything changes from that
first encounter forward, and when the soul finds that peace that comes through knowing God alone there is no desire to return to the former state of spiritual deadness at that point.

After salvation, it is proof of the sinfulness of men that some will still turn from that amazing personal experience and turn their back on God. Even against very strong conviction they will repudiate what they know to be true in their heart.

That is the greatest tragedy in the Universe. More tragic than those who have never found the peace that comes from knowing God. The Bible says, It is better to have never known the way of salvation, than to know it and then turn from it. It will be far worse for that man on the day of judgment.

There are two dimensions in life - natural and spiritual. Only God can open the spiritual dimension to us. That is why no natural (finite) explanation will ever accurately portray truth that is absolute.
