I had it done on my neck and my wife had it for her bikini line and undearms. We both had done 6 years ago and had great results.

Make sure you go to someone with a lot of experience who is using new equipment. People who get poor results generally get the poor results because the practioner is inexperienced or because the equipment is not effective.

The site http://www.HairRemovalForum.com lists providers who have received positive surveys from previous clients. If bad surveys are received, the provider is removed from the site.

im in the process of it right now. I dont know how it is where you plan to get it, but when I paid for my treatment, it included 5 treatments. they are 6 -8 weeks apart. I just had my second one and after the first one i noticed a HUGE difference. the only drawback is tha you cannot tan because the laser can burn your skin. Looks like im going to fair skined this whole summer (bummer) But I highly recommend it!!!!
Sorry had to add this,
It can be expensive I got mine at SONA MED SPA they have several locations and every month they run specials. I got the buy one get one free (2 areas for the price of one) and paid $750.00 but my sister opted for the 40% off deal and got one area for $425.00 I would check out the monthly specials and ask around for a reputable co. to do it.

NO! I had it done on my upper lip and chin, it cost me $1,500 for 5 treatments and it never completely got rid of the hair and now its starting to come back. The nurse said that there's no guarantee that it will work and that hormones and other factors effect the results. I was under the impression that it was a foolproof way to get rid of body hair forever, I was extremely disappointed. It hurts, costs a fortune, and is not guaranteed to work. Save your money! Just get it waxed.

Nope, a lady I used to work for had it done, it cost a fortune and only worked for about three months and then it came back, they said they do not promise it will disappear permanently. She had about 6 courses of 10 treatments each course cost £450

i had it done. for over 2 years. spent a fortune. worked fine..... but after several months hair started growing again. so it's still a good option if money is not a problem but it's far from "never ever shave again"
