Of course there are. I'm a Mormon, and I wakeboard. We just tend to be modest in our choice of swimwear.

Yes there we do play summer sports for a matter of fact in our ward we have teams in which we play against other wards. Also there has been some Mormons in both the summer and the winter Olympics for an example have you heard of Rulon Gardner.

There probably are. I don't know any names right now of LDS athletes, but I believe that there are a few. It is not against our religion to participate in team sports- if it were then BYU would not have any team sports.
Steve Young used to be on the 49ers- He is a very active member.
****Edit****
By modest Dave F means that we don't flaunt our stuff. LDS Women typically wear one piece suits rather than bikini's, Men typically wear trunks rather than speedos.

Yes. I don't understand why you think there wouldn't be. Mormons participate in every kind of sport, in any season. Why would you think otherwise?

Of course- wikipedia even has a list of famous mormon athletes here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_famous_Mormons#Athletes
Not to mention the champion BYU teams in swimming, track & feild, etc.

That's prime wife-hunting season.
[Dave F: Of course you have to be modest since you don't want people to see your holy underwear.]
