Just to put this right before the holy righteous brigade step in, having a statue of St.Joseph serves only to keep the holy foster Father of our Lord in mind and of itself cannot do anything else, so it is in asking for the intercession of St.Joseph who is patron of workers and family life and also the church that we may obtain this grace from God, not forgetting that poor St. Joseph had twice to find a home for Mary and Jesus.

I would ask for St. Joseph's intercession on finding a home as well as selling one. As an earlier poster said, St. Joseph had to find a make a home for himself, Mary and our savior, so he would be sympathetic to any person who is trying to find a home and would be more than willing to pray to god on your behalf.

Dead people, statutes or idols cannot help you do anything.
