God gave us dominion over the whole earth and all it contains for our use, however because of the fall of Adam and Eve selfishness entered our hearts, and so we will find that some are masters while others just serve.

Not sure where this question is going. It could be deep or it could be just ramblings. I guess it depends on your perspective. If you believe in a higher power, then no we are not masters only stewards. If you believe in no higher power then you could possibly answer one of two ways. Yes we are for the moment, if/until nature takes its course and nature itself deals with us: or you can say no and aliens who didn't create us but are vastly superior to us are masters.
Now I am totally rambling. My perspective...we are stewards to God.
