I'm running out of time on planning my 4 year old's birthday party. Do you have any easy, unique and fun ideas that would be a fun way to give 4 year old girls a really fun time like maybe something they can make and take home?

4 year old little girls love to dress up! How about a beauty parlor party? You could set up stations...one for hair, one for makeup and one for nails...Have some of the other moms help you work a station and get the girls all dolled up.

For added fun, have all of the girls come to the party in dress-up clothes.

Buy some inexpensive picture frames (craft foam frames, paper mache frames, etc), and have the girls decorate them with gems, jewels, glitter, etc. Use them as party favors.

Take a picture of the girls (individually and as a group), and send a copy to each girl with their thank you note, to be displayed proudly in the frame that they made!

I did a similar party for my daughter when she was little and it was a HUGE hit!

Enjoy!

If you go with a princess party you could try playing " Princess and the Pea."Tell the story and let each girl take a turn hiding the pea (some kind of green ball ) under one of three pillows. Then let each girl have a turn guessing which one has the pea. You can give out princess prizes to all the girls.

4 years old? That is kind of a tough one because you have to be careful of many things. Maybe get what she enjoys best. Say she likes swimming. Then get other responsible adults to help watch the kids with you. Or another thing is maybe go to the park and let them swing and play on the slides and stuff. Just watch them close of course! Have fun and happy Birthday to your daughter!

Do the princess theme. Cut out of constuction paper some crowns have them decorate there own. Then they can where them as birthday hats, it would give them something fun to do and to take home.

I just had my son's 4th bday, and with a wide age group it was hard but what I ended up doing was going to different dollar stores and getting a bunch of different stuff. Bubbles, chalk, balls, water guns, swimming noodles etc. At that age all they REALLY want goodie bags for is candy whatever else is in there is just a bonus. Good luck!!

Definately a Luau. They can limbo to hawaiian style music, let them make their own grass skirts or Leis. That would be a neat fun idea.
