its about attitude ---- do you want to be more than friends with the guy online?? if you do then yes it is cheating --- its not about what happens its what you would like to happen --- there is a fine line as well --- fantasy versus longing ---- i suppose staying on the fantasy side is ok as well all have some gentle fantasies ---- not sure this really answers --- its really how you feel --- best wishes

well if you like the person you are chatting with and you would like for it to go to more than being friends then you'll probably end up cheating, taling is harmless unless you know you guys are flirting after all you shouldn't be flirting cause you have a boyfriend. i would suggest you telll your boyfriend that you talk to someone online and that you guys are just friends and if there is a need to worry well you are the only one that can answer that GOOD LUCK!!!!!1

Your boyfriend is flirting online with some girl he's known since before you were dating. How do you feel about it?
If you would feel jealous/angry/insecure/upset or worried... Then yes, it's cheating.

if you are already seeing someone and still feel compelled to talk to another person in a relationship state of mind....you must not be getting what you need from the relationship that you are in physically--i found myself doing that a lot--wanting and needing the attention of someone else because i wasn't getting what i needed from my man at the time--its easy to let other men on line make you feel good and they do fill that void of your real relationship not being what you think it should be--sooooo if you aren't getting what you need in your physical relationship at home--get rid of it and look for someone on or offline that can be more of what you are looking for--and that can give you more of what you need and deserve. hope this helps and good luck!

not neccessarily. i used to flirt with my ex ex bf's best friend and we dated for like 4 months. i didnt think of it as cheating and when my ex had a gf he still hit on me. i think its only cheating if ur sleeping with them or kissing them and stuff. just dont get caught
