YES, my siblings and I DO MISS our mother -- because ...
as young adults on Active Duty with the US Military, our parents died in an Auto Accident, and we ended up on Emergency Leave to bury them.
Since that time (and it has been over a quarter of a century now), we have definitely missed our parents, and our mother in particular. She never got the chance to see us have children, to see the way we survived disasters of marriages, how we rebuilt our lives after those horrors, how we continued on with our educations and obtained our graduate degrees, how we went up through the ranks, and where we ended up in life, and how we are beginning to retire and start our elder years!
So yes, we do miss our mother ... and can only wish she was alive at this time.

My mother is no longer living, so I do miss her alot. She's been dead for sixteen years. We were very close I was her caregiver the last four years of her life as she had MS.
I miss her laugh and her sense of humour, her sage wisdom, but I guess I miss just not having a mum anymore. Appreciate the one you have while she's here, because when she's gone it's permanent.

I do but I need a healthy mind and have to be apart. She lives 30 mins away and I have had an on-off rel'shp all my life, particularly once I had my own brain. She affects me in some good ways and in some bad ways because I follow what I grew up in. It is far healthier for me to stay as far as I can away from her even tho, I love her.

My mother lives about 20 minutes away and I see her at least every two weeks sometimes twice in one week and sometimes I miss her a lot and I feel like talking to her even though I spoke to her yesterday and sometimes she drives me crazy and she'll call me even though I talked to her two days in a row and I just want her to leave me alone.

i have seen my real mother four times since i was born i was adopted at 6 weeks old. i first met her when i was 23. my adoptive mother died when i was 12 but i always knew that she wasn't my mother. so it didn't affect me as much as it would anyone else.

my mother who was my next door neighbor was my kids babysitter. now that the kids are grown she moved out of state. yes it is different. it is good though because she is happy. if i were not happy for her i would be selfish.
