so im 18 and the guy i like is 23 what is your opinion?

Not a big deal at all! When I met my husband I was 18 and he had just turned 23. I think you should definitely go with an older guy anyways because a lot of 18 year old guys are interested in stupid things. Go with someone a little older and they're more than likely going to be more mature too. Good luck! :)

I'm 25 and my fiancee is 33, we're a match made in heaven. Age isn't really that big of a deal unless it's like a 16 year old dating a 30 year old, then it's just gross. You're both adults so why not.

Age is not an issue as long as it's legal!
Look at Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher! There is a 10 year age difference between them!!! A five year age difference is not that bad!

You are both adults at this point in time. Age shouldn't be an issue as long as you are responsible and have open communication. Don't be upset if he wants to go to the bars every once in a while though.

Absolutely ok, my boyfriend is eight years older than me and we couldn't be happier. Regardless of what other people say though, it is ultimately up to you to decide what you want and what will make you happy. Age does not define a person, who they are is what matters. Do what makes you happy and know that there is nothing wrong with an age gap.

That is not much difference. It may seem like quite a bit now but 5 years is not much. The only problem would be that if he is out of college and you are just starting. He may want to start his career and be waiting for you to finish college. Good Luck to you.

well its a stretch but as long as he isnt older than 23 its ok. love works in mysterious ways so as long as hes not over 8 yrs older or younger than u (and its not illegal) its fine. just make sure that before you get to serious hes really the guy you want because older guys usually end up breaking your heart. good luck!!!!!

What is your question. Mental age is about even, and he is probably still trainable. Have you tried the old trick of making him jump through a hoop for a can of beer yet?
